This is a crisp fresh and fruity native of Piedmont. You may have tasted Cortese before under the name of "Gavi" - this is the same great taste from the famed Nizza Monferrato zone.

Moscato d'Asti DOCG 2006 (frizante) Made with grapes sourced from the Blades vineyards this is an outstanding example of this light, fruit filled speciality of the Asti zone. 5.5 percent alcohol and sweet on the tongue this is great as an aperitif (think summer weddings) or with desert or the always wonderful ameritti biscuits. Best drunk young for that real moscato grape fruit bomb of flavours.
