“Impetus” Barbera Monferrato DOC 2001 The first of two "premium" Barbera's produced by this Winemaker from the excellent 2001 harvest. Fermented and aged in a giant oak vat from only the finest grapes from the "sori" or best spot on top of the hill, after one year in the vat Impetus is then aged for a further year in the bottle before release. This wine is tasting well now and will improve with cellaring through as far as 2010

Sorry - all stock now sold. - Winemaker - ROBERTO URSCHELER

“Impetus” Barbera Monferrato DOC 2004 This is the 2nd vintage released by Roberto under the Impetus name and deservedly so, the winemaker has perfected the art of large oak vat production with Impetus Secondus. Nose, structure and taste are all perfectly aligned and although destined for cellar aging this 2004 Barbera d'Asti is drinking very well now (decant two hours before drinking). Will improve for 8 or more years.

£21.99 per bottle (£131.94 - 6 bottle case) - Winemaker - ROBERTO URSCHELER

This is a limited boutique wine production.

“Bric del Fruste” – Barbera Monferrato DOC 2001  , The second "premium" Barbera from this winemaker from the excellent 2001 harvest. This wine shares the same vat as Impetus for one year after which it is aged for an additional year in French Alier oak barriques. This wine is great for that special occasion, memorable meal or gift. Drinking well now and will age well for 6-10 years more.

“VentidiMarzo” Barbera d’Asti DOC 2004 , Multi-award winning super smooth barbera - the name means 20th March and is the birthdate of Clementina Cossetti's first child (Mario, after her father) - using only the very best grapes from their San Columbino vineyards. Great for all occasions!

£19.40 per bottle (£116.40 per 6 bottle case) Winemaker - M&C Cossetti

Piano Piano Premium Reserve 2005 , Last few cases of this the first vintage of the Blades' wine. Matured in French oak barriques for a further 14 months after the regular Piano Piano is bottled. Drinking very well now and will age for at least 4 more years. Best served with great food - or as as a special occasion.

Barolo DOCG 2004 , this classic and world renowned Piedmont wine is a smooth and easy to approach version of this sometimes highly tanic wine, drinking very well now or cellar for upto 5 years. Last few bottles.

£22.99 per bottle (£137.94 per 6 bottle case) Winemaker - M&C Cossetti

San Cristoforo Barberesco DOCG 2004 , this single vineyard production Nebbiolo from the much sought after San Cristoforo sub-zone of Barberesco is a rich and complex example of this classic wine, we think this is far superior to many Barolo offerings of the same vintage. Limited stocks.

Winemaker - Angelo Sassi

Roero Arneis DOCG 2009 , The "next big thing" in white wine according to the leading wine commentators we chose this one as it is one of our personal favourites. Subtle and hidden depths of fruit and a great aftertaste make this a great white wine to enjoy with those special meals.

£11.99 per bottle (£71.94 per 6 bottle case) Winemaker - M&C Cossetti
